Brief Note on production of red chillies in Andhra Pradesh:

The State of Andhra Pradesh in India is famous for the production of red chillies. Guntur
district in Andhra Pradesh is the biggest market of red chillies in the world. The total area
under cultivation is about 2.5 lakh hectres with an approximate prodution of about 3.5 lakh
tonnes of chillies.
